The Israeli occupation forces left a trail of death and destruction in the southern Lebanese town of Tayr Harfa before pulling out of the area following a two-month ceasefire agreement with the Hezbollah resistance movement, according to local media.

Israel may not leave the occupied areas in southern Lebanon at the end of the 60-day withdrawal period stipulated in a ceasefire deal with the Hezbollah resistance movement, a report says.

A senior Lebanese lawmaker says the Israeli regime is continuously violating the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah in order to make up for its defeats.

The Israeli military continues to violate last month’s ceasefire agreement with Lebanon by carrying out fresh attacks on the country.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister Mikati has called on the United States and France to help speed up the Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon.

The Hezbollah leader says the Israeli enemy has long been seeking the eradication of the resistance front, but all to no avail.

Hezbollah says it has targeted an Israeli military site in the occupied Kfar Shouba hills in response to the regime’s repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

"We hold Netanyahu fully responsible for thwarting the mediators’ efforts and obstructing the path to an agreement," Hamas said.

Sami Abu Zuhri, a high-ranking member of the Hamas political bureau, has dismissed as “an illusion” Biden’s optimism that a ceasefire deal in Gaza is in sight.

The regime is, instead, still maneuvering under Washington's cover, a Hamas official says.
