Yemen launches fresh strikes on Israeli targets to stop Gaza genocide

Yemeni Army spokesman Yahya Saree

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced a series of military operations targeting Israeli sites as part of efforts to bring a halt to the genocide in Gaza and to respond to aggression against Yemen itself.

According to a statement issued in Sana’a, Yemen’s missile unit deployed a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile against a “sensitive Israeli target” in the occupied city of Yaffa.

The operation achieved its objectives, sending large numbers of settlers into shelters.

In a parallel strike, Yemen’s UAV force targeted Ramon Airport in the southern city of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat).

These attacks follow a wave of Israeli airstrikes on Yemen, which killed dozens of civilians and senior officials, including Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, framed the operations as part of Yemen’s “moral and religious duty” to support Palestinians under siege in Gaza.

He warned that continued silence from Arab and Islamic nations would embolden further Israeli aggression across the region.

The statement reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to sustained military action until the blockade on Gaza is lifted and Israeli attacks cease.

Israeli authorities have claimed they intercepted at least one missile and reported drone activity near the Egyptian border.
