The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched another anti-Israel operation in support of the Palestinian people, striking the regime’s targets in the occupied territories with drones.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced in a statement on Sunday that they conducted a drone attack targeting Israeli military sites.

The statement said four drones were deployed in a "qualitative military operation," with three targeting Ramon Airport in the Umm al-Rashrash area (near Eilat) and one striking a military target in the Negev region of southern Israel.

The Yemeni army asserted the operation met its objectives. It said the strikes were carried out in response to the crimes of genocide and starvation committed by Israel against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The statement emphasized Yemen’s "religious, moral, and humanitarian duty" to support Palestinian resistance and vowed to continue such actions until the "aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted."

It also underscored Yemen’s resolve to defend its own sovereignty and maintain its stance despite external pressures.

The army added that the operation also came in retaliation for the Israeli aggression against Yemen and affirmed that Yemen will continue to uphold its religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities toward its brothers in Gaza until Israel’s aggression against the territory ends and its siege is lifted.

The announcement reflects heightened regional tensions, with the Yemeni Armed Forces positioning themselves as active supporters of the Palestinian cause.

Israeli officials have not yet commented on the reported strikes, and further details on the operation’s outcomes remain unclear.

In light of the worsening genocidal war in Gaza that started in October 2023, Yemeni forces executed a strategic maritime blockade intended to obstruct the delivery of military resources to Israel while urging the global community to address the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Concurrently, they conducted multiple missile and drone attacks on key targets located in the Israeli-occupied regions, demonstrating their support for the Palestinians in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have stated unequivocally that they will continue their operations until Israel puts an end to its ground and aerial assaults in Gaza.

Israel has killed at least 64,756 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in the besieged Gaza Strip since October 2023, according to the health ministry of Gaza.
