Female Iranian wushu athlete Zahra Kiani has secured a gold medal at the 17th World Wushu Championships 2025 held in Brazil.
Kiani won the gold medal on the fourth day of the events in Brasilia on Saturday, showcasing her exceptional skills in the women’s Qiangshu, a Wushu talu (or form) that prominently features a spear as the primary component of the routine.
As the final competitor to take the stage in the talu field, Kiani concluded her performance in first place among 27 participants, making history by clinching the gold medal.
