Trump’s controversial budget legislation
The US president signed a package of tax breaks and spending cuts, he has called a "big, beautiful bill," into law. The bill faced opposition and negative reactions from the public belonging to the "Free America" movement, who say Trump’s budget legislation cuts funding for social safety measures and slashes food and health benefits for the poorest Americans.
