Aftermath of Gaza genocide

Hamas has announced the start of indirect negotiations with Israel on the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Hamas says it remains concerned about a number of issues, including shelter for the people in Gaza, as well as aid supplies and reconstruction efforts. The group blames Israel for obstructing humanitarian provisions in the ceasefire deal and evading its implementation. Hamas has already urged mediators to ensure Israel's compliance with the agreement and prevent delays. Under the ceasefire terms, indirect negotiations to finalize phase two were set to begin in Doha on Monday. Instead, the Israeli prime minister opted to go to Washington to meet with the US president and his Middle East envoy over the issue.
 

West Bank retaliatory operation

Tensions continue to escalate between Palestinians and the Israeli regime in the occupied West Bank, where several Israeli soldiers have been targeted in a fresh retaliatory attack. According to Israeli media, two soldiers were killed and six injured. The shooting took place at an Israeli checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley. The resistance fighter reportedly managed to breach a lookout position before he was shot dead. In a statement, the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, has hailed the operation as heroic and significant, and a natural response to Israeli crimes. It also condemned the regime’s ongoing incursions in West Bank saying these crimes and aggressions will not go unpunished. The Islamic Jihad movement, for its part, said the anti-Israeli operation proves that Palestinians are steadfast in their resistance against the regime.
