Return to homeland

Local officials in Gaza say around 80 percent of Palestinians displaced have returned to northern Gaza over the past days. Authorities, however, have issued a serious warning to the returning residents about the dangers posed by remnants of the occupying forces still present in the area. While relief efforts are ongoing, large quantities of humanitarian aid remain stuck at the Gaza Strip border, with a significant drop in aid truck entries. Concerns are also rising about retrieving bodies trapped under rubble, and the number of tents is insufficient for those affected. The Palestinian health ministry said 59 bodied were retrieved from under the rubble in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll from the Israeli genocide to 47,417 since October 7, 2023.

'Terrorizing' Palestinian prisoners

Tensions are escalating across the West Bank as Israeli troops raid several towns in the occupied Palestinian territories including Jenin and Tulkarm. The regime's forces have killed at least two Palestinians in separate raids in the occupied territories. They also abducted several resistance fighters and demolished their homes.

Israel Lebanon aggression

The Israeli regime has carried out fresh attacks on several areas in southern Lebanon in blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement with the Arab country. At least five people were injured in a drone strike on the town of Majdal Selm. Two more injuries were also reported from attacks on other southern areas. Last night, Israeli drones conducted two major strikes on Nabatieh town, injuring at least 36 people. The attacks drew strong condemnation from the Lebanese officials. Lebanon's Prime Minister Najib Mikati vowed that Lebanon would not tolerate such aggression. Similarly, Senior Hezbollah official Mohammad Raad stressed the people’s legitimate right to confront occupation at the appropriate time. Since the ceasefire agreement began on November 27, Israeli strikes have killed at least 83 people and injured 228 others in Lebanon.
