Amid the West-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed over 45,700 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.
The major operations by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Sunday, Jan. 5, are as follows:
Al Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 5:
- In a joint operation with the Al-Quds Brigades, engaged in fierce clashes with an Israeli infantry force consisting of 10 soldiers with weapons and hand grenades, killing and wounding them, west of the city of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on Jan. 5:
- Carried out a raid on a building housing several Israeli soldiers in Jabalia Camp, northern Gaza Strip. Before withdrawal, they detonated an explosive device left behind by the enemy forces inside the building.
- Confronted Israeli occupation forces storming several axes in the town of Jenin, occupied West Bank, and targeted them with heavy volleys of bullets.
- Blew up an Israeli military jeep in Tamun (Tubas Governorate), occupied West Bank.
- Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces in Tubas and Tulkarem, occupied West Bank.
- Engaged in fierce battles with invading Israeli forces on the combat fronts surrounding the New Askar Camp.
Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on Jan. 5:
- Targeted Israeli military’s command and control headquarters in Jabalia Services Club with 60mm mortar shells.
Yemeni military’s operations on Jan. 5:
- Targeted "Orot Rabin" power station linked to the Israeli enemy south of the Haifa area in the occupied territories, with a hypersonic ballistic missile, Palestine 2.
