Jan. 3: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid the West-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed over 45,600 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Friday, Jan. 3, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 3:

  • Targeted and destroyed four Merkava tanks with a number of highly explosive devices in the axis of progress east of Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza Strip
  • Targeted the settlement of "Netivot" with a barrage of "Q18" rockets.
  • Targeted yet another Merkava tank with a 'Shuath' explosive device west of Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip.
  • In a joint operation with the Al-Nasser Brigades, launched a 'SAM' missile towards an Israeli 'Apache' helicopter east of the Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Jan. 3:

  • Targeted a convoy of Israeli military vehicles surrounding Balata Camp in Nablus, occupied West Bank, with heavy volleys of bullets.

Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces' operations on Jan. 3:

  • Shelled the gatherings of Israeli soldiers at the Civil Administration site east of Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip, with mortar shells.

Yemeni military’s operations on Jan. 3:

  • Targeted an Israeli power station east of the Yaffa region (Tel Aviv) using a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile.
  • Targeted an important Israeli military site in Yaffa (Tel Aviv) with a drone.
