May 24: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 35,800 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Thursday, May 23, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on May 24:

• In an ambush in the Beit Lahia project area in the northern Strip, targeted two Merkava-4 tanks and a D9 military bulldozer using an Al-Yassin 105 shell, a tandem shell, and a Shuath explosive device at point-blank range.
• Sniped two Israeli regime soldiers on the axis of advance in the Beit Lahia project area north of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces with heavy-caliber mortar shells in the “Netzarim” axis, south of Gaza City.
• Targeted an Israeli military "Merkava" tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell and a "D9" military bulldozer with a Tandem shell in the vicinity of Salah Al-Din Gate, south of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip
• Targeted an Israeli military “Merkava-4” tank with a “Shuath” explosive device north of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
• Sniped an Israeli soldier inside a residential building in the Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip.
• Lured an Israeli force to the entrance of a tunnel north of Jabalia town in the northern Gaza Strip and engaged in fierce clashes with them, leaving behind many casualties.
• Targeted three Israeli military tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells and Shuath explosives in the Tabet Zari area, northeast of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Detonated an Israeli military Merkava-4 tank using a Shuath explosive device in the Al-Qasasib neighborhood in the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades’ operations on May 24:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles around the Salah Al-Din Gate, south of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip with a barrage of heavy mortar shells.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles storming Balata camp in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus from several axes with machine guns and explosive devices.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on May 24:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles around the Salah Al-Din Gate, south of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, with a barrage of 107mm rockets.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Turkish Friendship Hospital with a 107mm-guided missile.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces’ operations on May 24:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles at the Sofa military support site, east of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, using mortar shells.
• Detonated an explosive device on an Israeli infantry force in the vicinity of the Salah Al-Din Gate, south of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
• In a joint operation with the Al-Quds Brigades, targeted an Israeli military Merkava tank with a tandem shell near the Aisha Mosque in the Jabalia camp.

Al-Asifah Forces’ operations on May 24:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles at the Civil Administration site east of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip with a barrage of mortar shells.

Hezbollah’s operations on May 24:

Eastern sector:

• At around 15:35 local time, surveillance equipment at the Bayad Blida site was targeted.
• At around 17:40 local time, Israeli soldiers in the Margaliot settlement were targeted.
• At around 18:35 local time, a military building in the Al-Manara settlement was targeted.
• At around 18:35 local time, Israeli soldiers in the Yoav Barracks were targeted.
•  At around 19:05 local time, Israeli soldiers of the 91st Division in Illit were targeted.
•  At around 19:30 local time, the Ramtha site in Lebanon's Kafr Shuba was targeted.
• At around 21:30 local time, the headquarters of the Al-Sahel Battalion of the 769th Brigade at the Beit Hilal base was targeted with a Falaq rocket.

Western sector:

• At around 23:35 local time, Israeli soldiers were targeted with a missile at the Sarawat Triangle in Yaroun.
• At around 17:20 local time, the Al-Malikiyah site was targeted by two Burkan rockets.
• At around 17:35 local time, a Merkava tank was targeted and destroyed in Horsh Shtoula. Israeli soldiers who came to check the tank were also targeted.
• At around 18:30 local time, the Doviev site was targeted with Falaq rockets.

Islamic Resistance of Iraq’s operations on May 24:

• A vital military site was targeted in Umm Al-Rashrash ("Eilat") in the occupied Palestinian territories using a barrage of drones.
• The Port of Haifa in the occupied Palestinian territories was targeted using drones.

Yemeni military’s operations on May 24:

• Targeted the Israeli-owned ship MSC ALEXANDRA in the Arabian Sea with a barrage of ballistic missiles.
• The naval forces, the drone air force, and the missile force in a joint operation targeted the ship named YANNIS belonging to Eastern Mediterranean Maritime, a Greek company, as it passed through the Red Sea. The operation came after three ships belonging to the same company arrived at the ports of occupied Palestine on the 4th and 5th of May of this year.
• The missile force of the Yemeni military targeted a ship named ESSEX with several missiles in the Mediterranean Sea while it was violating the decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine.
