Iran-terror operations

Iran's foreign minister says the country’s recent strikes on terrorist outfits in Pakistan were aimed at eliminating security threats to both nations. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also reiterated Iran's full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its eastern neighbor. Iran's top diplomat was speaking in a phone call with Pakistan’s caretaker foreign minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani. He asserted that the attacks specifically targeted the Jaish al-Adl terror group’s bases, which has been posing threats to both country’s security in the past years. Amir-Abdollahian said the terror outfit has repeatedly claimed responsibility for anti-Iran operations carried out from the Pakistani territory. He also expressed hope for continued and strengthened security cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad. Jilani, for his part, said Pakistan has consistently took measures against threats to Iran's security originating from its soil. He requested that Tehran share intelligence with Islamabad regarding terrorist groups operating in Pakistan. Amir-Abdollahian had earlier stressed Iran's full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries, saying, however, that it will not compromise on its national security. 

Yemen support for Gaza 

The Yemeni army says it has carried out another operation against an American vessel in the Red Sea. Yemeni army spokesman, Yahya Saree, said the operation took place in the Gulf of Aden with a number of appropriate naval missiles. He described the strike as precise and direct. Saree reaffirmed that the Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to target all sources of threat in the Arabian and Red Seas within the country’s legitimate right of self-defense. He also warned that any aggression against Yemen by the US or the UK will not go unanswered and unpunished. Saree noted that Yemen’s operations are in support of the people of Gaza amid Israel’s genocidal war. A few hours following Saree’s statement, Yemeni media reported that the US and the UK have conducted another round of strikes against targets across the country. The new strikes hit positions in south of the capital Sana'a, as well as Hudaydah, Ta’iz, Dhamar, al-Bayda, and Sa’ada. Following the strikes, Yemen’s military said it will continue to target ships heading to ports in the occupied Palestine, no matter how the American-British aggression tries to prevent such operations.

Gaza genocide raging on 

It seems that 104 days of incessant killing of innocent women and children have not satisfied the bloodthirsty Israeli regime. Every corner of the besieged Gaza Strip is being hit by indiscriminate strikes, which leave a trail of death and destruction in their wake. Israel has stepped up its airstrikes and artillery shelling in the south, killing dozens of people, mostly women and children, in the cities of Rafah and Khan Younis. Attacks on a Gaza neighborhood also killed over two dozen people and left many more injured. More than 160 people were killed across Gaza in a matter of 24 hours, bringing the death toll since October the 7th to nearly 24,500. Some 350 others were injured in the same period. Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance fighters have confronted the invading Israeli forces in different parts of Gaza. The military wing of Hamas resistance movement says its fighters have destroyed a number of Israeli armored vehicles and military equipment using rockets and guided missiles. Several gatherings of Israeli soldiers have been struck, killing and injuring a number of them. The regime has confirmed the death of two more soldiers.
