Pakistan’s PM has begun a key regional tour, just days after his country hosted Iran-US talks.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a social media post that he thanked Pakistan for its “gracious hosting” of the US-Iran dialogue as he received the country’s Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in Tehran on Wednesday.

The Turkish president says his government is making the “necessary appeals and initiatives” to extend the ceasefire.

Iran is “not blockadable,” the Foreign Ministry spokesman says, rejecting the US attempt to impose a naval blockade on the country.

Iran is continuously exchanging messages with Pakistan amid Islamabad’s efforts to mediate a permanent end to the US-Israeli aggression, according to a report.
