US attacks nuclear plant
Iran's deputy foreign minister has strongly condemned the United States’ attack on the Darkhovin nuclear power plant in the southwestern Khuzestan province, which is still under construction. In a social media post, Kazem Gharibabadi called the attack a dangerous aggression against Iran's peaceful infrastructure. He added that the US government is fully responsible for all consequences of increased insecurity and instability resulting from this aggression. Gharibabadi stressed that Iran will take all appropriate measures to defend its national interests and security. His comments came after the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran earlier condemned the US attack on the Darkhovin nuclear plant as a terrorist move. It added that the plant is a symbol of Iran’s scientific self-reliance, which was hit by a bullying and outlaw regime. The organization described the US attack on the plant as a blatant violation of international law and the country’s sovereignty, stressing that it sets a dangerous precedent that threatens global peace and security.
Resistance supports Iran
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has warned the US against further escalation of its aggression against Iran, saying resistance groups will enter the conflict directly if this happens. The Islamic resistance said if the US expands the scope of its war on Iran, all its interests and military bases will be targeted in Iraq and across the region with full force and determination. After issuing the warning, Iraq’s Islamic resistance explained that it has not carried out any military attacks against US bases in Iraq or elsewhere in the region over the past days. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq is an umbrella organization comprising several resistance factions whose main mission is to put an end to the US military presence in the region and defend Iraq's sovereignty.

After a goalless 90 minutes, substitute Ferran Torres broke the deadlock in the 106th minute, finishing from close range to give Spain the decisive goal. Argentina, reduced to 10 men after Enzo Fernández was sent off late in normal time, defended resolutely, but could not find an equalizer despite a late push. Spain dominated much of the contest, creating the better chances throughout the match before finally making the breakthrough in extra time. The victory secures Spain's first World Cup title since 20-10 and ends Argentina's reign as world champions.
