Dec. 27: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of more than 20,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on December 27, Wednesday, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Dec. 27:

• Targeted 4 military bulldozers and a Merkava tank north of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
•  Targeted a tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell east of Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• Damaged a troop carrier with an Al-Yassin 105 shell east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• Targeted 2 concentrations of Israeli vehicles and soldiers north of Khan Yunis with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
• Targeted a tank and troop carrier north of Khan Yunis with Al-Yassin 105 shells.
• Targeted 7 vehicles with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Jabalia Al-Balad area, leaving several soldiers dead and wounded.
• Targeted concentrations east of Bureij in the central Gaza Strip with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
•  Targeted a special force barricaded in a house on Old Gaza Street in the Jabalia Al-Balad area for the first time with an RPO-A anti-bunker missile launcher, which led to the killing and wounding of all the soldiers holed up in the house.
• Targeted a helicopter with a SAM-18 missile in the Al-Saftawi area, north of Gaza City.
• Sniped a soldier east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
• Confronted soldiers and vehicles in Shujaiya.
• Clashed with forces penetrating the Al-Saftawi area for 6 hours using machine guns, Al-Yassin 105 shells, “Shuath” anti-armor explosives, and “TBG” anti-fortified shells. 
• Targeted 2 tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Abu Shabak axis, west of the Jabalia Al-Balad area, north of Gaza.
• Targeted a helicopter with a SAM-18 missile east of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah's operations on Dec. 27:

Eastern sector:

• At around 13:15 local time, a missile and artillery attack on the newly established Israeli site in Shebaa confirmed casualties.
• At around 16:30 local time, the settlement of Kiryat Shmona was targeted with thirty Katyusha rockets.

Western sector:

• At around 10:00 local time, the Ras Naqoura naval site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 12:00 local time, a tent of a special force in the Israeli army, south of the Al-Dhahira site, was targeted, confirming casualties.
• At around 12:15 local time, the Hadab Al-Bustan site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 13:00 local time, the site of Khirbet Maar was targeted with Burkan missiles, causing casualties.

Iraqi resistance's operations on Dec. 27:

• Launched a drone strike against a US military base near Erbil Airport, northern Iraq, and reaffirmed its commitment "to strike the enemy's strongholds."
• Targeted a US military base in Iraq’s western province of Anbar with a rocket.
