US-Israeli conspiracy
The Iranian president says the recent US-Zionist conspiracy was a cowardly act of revenge by enemies of the Iranian nation following their defeat in the 12-day war. In a message to the Iranian nation about the recent foreign-backed terrorist movements, Pezeshkian described the past weeks as a severe and difficult test that left deep pain across the country. He said the conspiracies of Iran’s adversaries had turned legitimate civil protests into a bloody and violent spectacle, claiming the lives of around 3,000 citizens. Pezeshkian expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of nearly 2,500 innocent civilians and security personnel during just a few days of riots. He added that various groups have been tasked with thoroughly investigating the causes and factors behind these events, identifying the roots of violence, and eliminating them.
Gaza 'Board of Peace'
Hamas has strongly condemned the inclusion of Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in the so-called Gaza Board of Peace. The movement called the decision a dangerous and deeply troubling move that contradicts all principles of justice and accountability. In a statement, Hamas called Netanyahu a war criminal who is wanted by the International Criminal Court. The group said his inclusion by US President Donald Trump whitewashes Israel's ongoing violations in Gaza. Hamas asserted that Netanyahu is actively obstructing the Gaza ceasefire agreement while intensifying attacks on civilians, destroying neighborhoods and targeting shelters. It stressed that the Israeli occupation is the root of terrorism and a direct threat to regional and international peace. Hamas noted that real stability in Gaza requires an end to Israeli violations, full withdrawal of its forces, and holding those responsible for genocide and starvation accountable, starting with Netanyahu.
Tensions over Greenland
Greenland’s Prime Minister has drawn a firm red line regarding the Arctic island’s sovereignty, stressing that no foreign power can make deals about the territory without its consent. Nielsen asserted that only Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark have the mandate over the island. Referring to Trump’s claims about securing an agreement with NATO, which gives him total access to Greenland, the Prime Minister said he is still in the dark on many aspects of the agreement. Nielsen emphasized that any cooperation, especially with the United States, must respect international law and the territorial integrity of Greenland. He confirmed that a new high-level working group is now active with the US to find common ground, focusing on Arctic security and economics.
