Iran Sahand 2025 military exercises with SCO members
Iran is hosting a five-day anti-terrorism military exercise titled Sahand 20-25 in Iran, with delegations from member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in attendance.
The participating countries include Russia, China, India, and Pakistan. Neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Oman, and Iraq are attending as guests.
The drills provide the participating countries with the opportunity to exchange operational experience and enhance coordination among units and fight terrorism, separatism and extremism, the SCO's long-standing Three Evils mandate.
