Israeli atrocities against Palestinians

Israeli attacks in Gaza have continued despite the ceasefire, with a child among the latest wounded. The child was injured by Israeli gunfire in Gaza City as air raids also hit central Gaza's Maghazi camp. The assaults follow a weekend that saw nearly ten Palestinians killed, including two civilians in Beit Lahiya, and two in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City. The fatalities in al-Zaytoun included a Palestinian woman and her son who were hit with live fire. Meanwhile, the UN has identified over five-hundred acutely malnourished children as part of an immunization campaign, highlighting the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Since the ceasefire went into effect in October, Israel has killed at least 376 Palestinians. The death toll since the start of the genocide in 2023 has risen to 70,360.

Iran adversaries warned

The IRGC has warned the enemy against taking any hostile action against Iran as it will trigger a far stronger response. Major General Mohammad Pakpour says Israel planned to bomb military centers, kill senior commanders and pave the way for armed infiltration across Iran’s borders during the 12 day aggression. The commander added that the enemy assumed that activating internal elements to spark nationwide unrest along with the loss of military commanders would push Iran toward collapse. Iran however filled the leading positions within hours, preventing any disruption to defensive operations. The IRGC commander also referred to the US attacks on Natanz and Fordow nuclear facilities, saying that Tehran retaliated directly by firing 14 missiles at a major US air base in Qatar despite several countries mediating to prevent Iran from taking action.

Sudan deadly attacks

The African Union has strongly condemned deadly drone strikes by the Rapid Support Forces in southern Sudan. The attacks have killed more than a hundred people, including women and children. The union’s chairperson denounced the strikes as repeated crimes against civilians. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf voiced grave concern over ongoing bombardments, drone strikes, and assaults on vital infrastructure including hospitals, schools and even kindergartens. Youssouf called for an immediate ceasefire and unhindered humanitarian access. The RSF attack on Thursday targeted the army-held town of Kalogi. Three strikes hit in succession: first a kindergarten, then a hospital, and finally the residents rushing to rescue trapped children. Since April 2023, Sudan’s army and the RSF have been locked in a brutal conflict that has claimed tens of thousands of lives.
