Gaza health crisis
Gaza’s health ministry has warned that Israel is planning to eradicate the entire Palestinian race through genocide and engineering a health crisis. The ministry said the regime wants a deformed generation of Palestinians to be born from mothers suffering from major health problems. It added that more than one-hundred-50 cases of birth defects have been recorded since the Israeli genocide began in Gaza, as the regime continues to block the entry of essential medications needed for childhood health programs. The ministry revealed an unprecedented spread of anemia among children in Gaza. It said 82 percent of children under the age of one are affected with anemia as a result of deteriorating health conditions caused by Israeli blockade and genocide. The ministry also reported a 40-percent drop in Gaza birth rates compared to pre-war levels, highlighting immense risks faced by both mothers and infants amid a crumbling health system.
UNSC Gaza resolution
ran's Foreign Ministry has expressed serious concern about a US-drafted Gaza resolution, which was adopted by the U-N Security Council, saying most of its text contravenes the basic rights of the Palestinian nation. The Ministry warned that the resolution imposes some form of guardianship on Gaza, depriving the Palestinian nation of its basic rights, especially self-determination and the right to have an independent state. It said Iran rejects any effort to legitimize the occupation of Gaza by Israel and isolate it from the rest of the Palestinian territories, warning about dangerous consequences of such measures. The ministry said any foreign force in Gaza must act under full supervision of the United Nations, and must only oversee the implementation of the ceasefire and entry of humanitarian aid. It also underlined the legitimacy of resistance against occupation and colonialism according to international law. Iran's Foreign Ministry stressed that any decision on the administration of the Palestinian territories must be made through a national consensus among Palestinians, and any solution offered by foreign parties would not be acceptable.
Israel Lebanon aggression
Israel has launched fresh airstrikes on southern Lebanon, this time targeting a Palestinian refugee camp near the city of Sidon, leaving over a dozen people dead. According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, at least 13 people have been killed and several others injured in the attack that hit the vicinity of a mosque in the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp. Lebanese sources confirmed that the strike targeted a car with three missiles and was probably aimed at assassinating a Hamas official. They added that the number of casualties may rise as rescue operations continue on the site of the attack. The new strike came after earlier in the day, two Israeli drone strikes hit the towns of Blida and Bint Jbeil, killing two civilians. The new strikes come in blatant violation of the regime’s ceasefire deal with Lebanon. Despite the truce, Israeli troops remain heavily deployed across southern Lebanon, carrying out near-daily air raids. Since the truce took effect last November, more than one-hundred Lebanese civilians have lost their lives in Israeli attacks.
