Iran-Iraq security ties

Iran’s top security official Ali Larijani has held talks with Iraq’s national security adviser in the Iranian capital Tehran. The Iraqi official emphasized that Baghdad has filed a complaint against the Zionist regime at the UN Security Council stressing that no one has the right to use Iraq's airspace to launch an attack against Iran. As regards the snapback mechanism, Larijani called out the Europeans for illegally activating the process despite Tehran complying with all conditions over the past ten years. The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council stressed that the UN Security Council resolution 2231 is terminated. He also praised China and Russia for rejecting the renewed sanctions against Iran.

Israel violations in Gaza unabated

The Israeli regime continues killing more Palestinians in Gaza, violating the ceasefire agreement in the besieged territory. IOF assaults have targeted the eastern parts of Gaza City, as well as Rafah and Khan Yunis. Palestinian sources report that nearly 53 percent of the Gaza Strip is currently under Israeli fire. The Gaza authorities say they've documented 80 breaches of the truce that's a clear violation of international humanitarian law. Since the ceasefire was declared on October 10, nearly 100 Palestinians have lost their lives in Israeli attacks. This brings the death toll in Gaza since the start of the war to at least 68, 216. Some 170,300 others have been injured.
