The Israeli regime presses ahead with attacks on Yemen. Israeli warplanes have carried out at least 12 airstrikes on the port city of Hodeidah. Yemen’s army spokesman Yahya Saree says air defenses caused major confusion among Israeli aircraft, forcing some combat formations to withdraw before completing their mission. He added that the attempt to penetrate deep into the Yemeni territory was ultimately foiled. The Israeli military has already targeted Yemen’s military camps, fuel depots, and even facilities in the health sector. Earlier in August, Israeli airstrikes on the Yemeni capital claimed the lives of Prime Minister al-Rahawi, and 12 other senior officials.
