Israeli aggression on Yemen

The Yemeni presidency says Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi was assassinated in an Israeli aerial aggression earlier this week. The presidency said Al-Rahwi was martyred along with a number of his fellow ministers on Thursday. It added that the officials were assassinated while attending a regular government workshop to evaluate its activities and performance. The presidency said a number of ministers also sustained moderate and serious injuries as a result of the aggression and are currently receiving medical care. The office reassured the Yemeni people that the government would develop its capabilities to confront all challenges and threats to the Arab country. It also assured the oppressed Palestinian people that it would continue its genuine support for the people of Gaza. The presidency has named Mohammed Meftah as the replacement for the martyred premier.

Gaza City occupation warning

The International Red Cross has warned that any Israeli evacuation of Gaza City would be unsafe, unfeasible, and incomprehensible given the dire conditions in the besieged Strip.  President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Mirjana Spoljaric, made the statement as the Israeli regime tightens its siege on the area and prepares for a major new offensive. Israel’s military has also declared that daily pauses in fighting to allow limited food deliveries will be stopped. This as the UN has officially declared famine in Gaza while the UN chief has called the situation a “man-made disaster.” Israel’s escalating offensive against Gaza City has been condemned by countries across the world and inside occupied Palestinian territories.
