Starvation amid ethnic cleansing

The Israeli regime has killed nearly 100 Palestinians across Gaza in 24 hours. 29 people were killed and 300 injured while trying to collect aid. A nurse at al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital was also killed when an aid box, dropped from the air, fell in Gaza city's Deir al-Balah. Civil defense teams say victims remain trapped under the rubble and on roads, not accessible to ambulances. Meanwhile, health officials have recorded five new deaths due to famine and malnutrition on Sunday. Starvation-related deaths stand at 180, including 93 children. The death toll since the start of Israel’s genocidal war is nearing 61,000, with over 150,000 injured.

Israeli crimes in West Bank

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have demolished a residential building in the village of Al-Judeira and attacked the Palestinian locals. The occupation military also killed one person and injured another in an attack near the Qabatiya neighborhood, south of Jenin. Israeli forces took away the body of the slain victim after the attack. The IOF regularly steals the bodies of Palestinians it kills in the West Bank to pressure their families. The regime, as well as armed settlers it backs, has been killing Palestinians across the West Bank almost on a daily basis. They have killed over 1,000 Palestinians, and injured several thousand more, since the start of the Gaza genocide. The regime has also accelerated demolitions in Palestinian areas.

'No talks in the absence of trust'

Iran says talks with the US aren’t on the table for now. However, Tehran says it remains open if diplomacy serves national interests. Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei, told Press TV that Iran no longer trusts the United States, following its unprovoked assault on the country’s peaceful nuclear facilities. He accused Washington of colluding with Israel to violate Iran’s sovereignty and sabotage ongoing diplomatic efforts. Baghaei underscored that negotiations should be purposeful and solution-oriented. They should not deprive Iran of its inalienable rights under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Meanwhile, Iran says it’s in close contact with French officials over the detention of Mahdieh Esfandiari, who was arrested unlawfully. Esfandiari, a 35-year-old Iranian lecturer based in France, has been held near Paris since posting messages condemning Israel’s war on Gaza.
