US-Israeli Gaza genocide
The Israeli military continues its indiscriminate strikes on Gaza, killing more Palestinian civilians in its latest round of attacks. Aid distribution centers are still the primary targets of direct Israeli fire. The latest victims of the regime’s attacks were a group of 10 Palestinian civilians, after Israeli tanks and artillery fired on aid seekers in the al-Sudania area, northwest of the Gaza Strip. Six civilians were separately killed, and several others injured in an artillery attack on aid seekers near Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. Gaza’s Al-Awda Hospital reported that 15 aid seekers were killed and dozens injured by Israeli fire near the Netzarim corridor in central Gaza. The regime also targeted other parts of the territory with air and artillery fire, causing multiple fatalities. Another Palestinian girl also died of malnutrition, increasing the death toll from Israel’s starvation policy to 148, including 89 children. The US-Israeli genocide, which began in October 2023, has so far killed more than 60,000 Palestinians, leaving nearly 146,000 others injured.
Famine in Gaza
Several UN aid agencies have raised the alarm over severe shortages of food and essential supplies in Gaza, warning that the territory is slipping into famine. The World Food Program, UNICEF, and the Food and Agriculture Organization warned that time is running out, and that Gaza is "on the brink of a full-scale famine." They stressed that to prevent mass starvation, Gaza must be flooded every day with large-scale food aid, immediately and without obstruction. The warning came after a UN-affiliated crisis monitoring group warned that the worst-case famine scenario is now unfolding in Gaza. The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification added that famine thresholds have been reached across most of the territory. It added that children under the age of five are dying from hunger, with at least 16 deaths recorded since July 17.
Yemen anti-Israel operations
The Yemeni armed forces have carried out another anti-Israel operation, targeting Ben Gurion airport in the occupied territories with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile. Saree said the operation successfully achieved its goal and halted the airport’s operations. He added that the missile strike also forced millions of Israeli settlers to flee to shelters. The spokesman praised the Yemeni people for supporting the oppressed Palestinians amid the Gaza genocide. Saree emphasized that Yemen’s anti-Israel operations will continue as long as the genocide in Gaza rages on and Israel’s blockade of the territory is not lifted.
