Lawmakers supporting the ruling far-right government in Italy have rejected a parliament motion requesting Rome's recognition of Palestine's statehood.
During the session of the Chamber of Deputies, opposition lawmakers, however, condemned Israel's genocidal war on Gaza and atrocities in the occupied West Bank.
