Pro-Palestine activists have once again targeted the Bristol headquarters of Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems, marking the 17th such incident at the site.
Video footage shared on social media shows red paint splattered across the building and windows being smashed.
The protesters, reportedly from the group Palestine Action, used a modified cherry picker to damage the operational hub of the arms manufacturer.
In the video, activists can be seen breaking windows from atop the cherry picker, with one shouting, “We will never stop... until the war machine and terrorist state is dismantled window by window, brick by brick, wall by wall, roof by roof.”
A spokesperson for Palestine Action accused Elbit Systems of profiting from the Israeli war in Gaza and the West Bank.
“While Elbit weaponry is used for massacres, 20 Palestine Action members, including the Filton18, are imprisoned without trial,” the spokesperson said.
"Elbit, [Prime Minister Sir Keir] Starmer, and those facilitating war crimes are the criminals—not those taking action to stop the slaughter in Palestine.”
Elbit Systems has not yet commented on the incident.
This protest follows a similar action earlier in the week, when Palestine Action targeted Allianz’s City of London offices, alleging the insurance giant has ties to Elbit Systems.
Activists scaled the building, unfurled a flag reading “Drop Elbit,” and sprayed red paint on the premises.
Palestine Action says that since Israel unleashed the genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, Elbit Systems has received at least 24 export licenses for arms sales to the occupying regime.
The group has been campaigning against the company since April 2021, when it first occupied the rooftop of Elbit’s Aztec West business park building in Bristol.
