Gaza disastrous situation
Israel's genocidal war in Gaza is claiming more Palestinian lives as the regime’s military continues to pound the blockaded territory indiscriminately. Airstrikes have particularly intensified in the north where the humanitarian crisis is deepening in Jabalia, Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya. Many Palestinians are trapped in these areas amid lack of access to food, water, medicine and essential aid. Nuseirat and al-Maghazi refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip are being heavily bombarded. The bombing of a house east of Deir el-Balah has caused some casualties. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, in 24 hours, at least 31 Palestinians have been killed and 57 injured. This as the UN relief chief has stated that efforts to save lives in Gaza are at a “breaking point,” describing the situation as nearly impossible.

Hamdan outlined the movement’s stance on critical ceasefire negotiations, emphasizing the urgency of a ceasefire, the IOF's withdrawal from Gaza, prisoner exchange, and unconditional rebuilding efforts. He accused Israel of imposing relentless deprivation and destruction in Gaza, stating that the enemy continues to kill, destroy, and deprive Palestinians of everything. He reaffirmed Hamas’s unwavering resolve, stressing that the resistance remains strong. Hamdan also addressed leadership changes following the martyrdom of Commander Yahya Sinwar on October 16. He confirmed ongoing internal procedures to elect a new political bureau chief soon.
