Dec. 24: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid the West-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 45,300 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, December 24, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Dec. 24:

  • Ambushed a gathering of Israeli soldiers near the Education Roundabout, east of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
  • Detonated a series of explosive devices on an Israeli military bulldozer of the "Ijal" type and a number of military vehicles in the "Harat Al-Ghanem" axis in Tulkarm camp, occupied West Bank. 
  • Detonated explosive devices on a convoy of Israeli military vehicles in the fighting axes in Tulkarem camp, occupied West Bank. 

 Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Dec. 24:

  • Ambushed an Israeli infantry force consisting of 12 soldiers by detonating a pre-rigged house they were holed up in, west of Beit Hanoun. 
  • Detonated a “Thaqeb” explosive device on a Merkava army vehicle in Beit Hanoun. 
  • Engaged in fierce close-quarters combat with Israeli soldiers fortified in a house west of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip. 
  •  Targeted Israeli military sites and illegal settlements in the Gaza envelope with a barrage of rockets from the heart of the incursion axes in the northern Gaza Strip. 

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on Dec. 24:

  • Ambushed an Israeli infantry force in a tight ambush in Tulkarem camp, occupied West Bank, and showered them with bullets.
  • Confront Israeli forces after they stormed Balata Camp in the occupied West Bank and targeted them with a heavy barrage of bullets and explosive devices. 

Yemeni military’s operations on Dec. 24:

  • Launched a "Palestine 2" hypersonic ballistic missile on an Israeli military site in occupied Yaffa, confirming that the operation "successfully achieved its objectives."
