Yemen says it has conducted a successful military operation against two “strategic” military sites in Tel Aviv using Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missiles.
Yemen's armed forces spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a statement on Thursday that the country's missile force carried out a targeted military operation, striking two Israeli sensitive military sites in Tel Aviv with two Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missiles.
“The operation was carried out simultaneously with the Israeli aggression on civilian facilities in the capital, Sana'a, and the Hudaydah Governorate, including power stations, and our response came within the natural and legitimate response,” the statement noted.

The statement vowed that the forces will keep responding to Israel's "brutal aggression" by "continuing support and striking all hostile targets with appropriate weapons”, until the aggression is ended and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
The projectile landed in the Gush Dan or Tel Aviv metropolitan area, the largest conurbation area in the occupied territories and the center of the Israeli regime’s financial and high technology sector, on Thursday, Israeli media outlets reported.
The retaliation attack came as Israeli airstrikes targeted the Haziz and Dhahban power stations near the Yemeni capital of Sana’a, the strategic western province of Hudaydah and Ras Isa oil facility, killing and injuring several people.
Yemen vows to target Israeli energy, oil facilities
Yemen's Ministry of Information advisor, Tawfiq al-Humairi, has vowed that Israel's recent aggression will not go unanswered, asserting, "We are in a state of conflict with the Israeli regime and will target its electricity and oil infrastructure in retaliation for the early morning attacks."
Al-Humairi further noted that such acts of aggression will only strengthen Yemen's resolve to support their brothers in Gaza.
Moreover, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, during a press briefing on Thursday, condemned the Israeli-American attacks on Yemeni civilian positions, labeling them as "terrorist war crimes."
He stated that the ongoing Israeli-American aggression against Yemen is part of a broader pattern of violence across the region, emphasizing that such actions will not hinder Yemen's commitment to support Gaza.
Since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the Yemeni forces have taken measures to assert their support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, targeting Israeli vessels in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
Additionally, the Yemeni armed forces have launched several missile and drone attacks against Israeli-occupied territories, particularly focusing on Tel Aviv. They have pledged to continue these operations as long as Israel maintains its assaults on Gaza, signaling a potential for further escalation in the region.
In October, the US military unleashed B-2 stealth bombers to bomb Yemen in support of Israel. Since then, attacks against Yemen from Israel, the US and the UK have continued in a bid to halt the retaliatory attacks by Sana'a.
