Martial law aborted in South Korea, country plunged into political crisis

South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol had his decree of martial law quickly struck down by lawmakers amid chaos at the country's National Assembly.

President Yoon hours later accepted the lawmakers decision. Plunging the country into sudden political crisis, President Yoon now may face impeachment and possibly even charges of treason.
