Thousands of protesters flooded the streets in Amman, Jordan on Friday, waving Palestinian flags and displaying placards with images of the late Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated in Tehran on July 31.
Demonstrators raised placards and chanted, demanding attention to the ongoing war affecting Gaza. "Enough disregard for the blood of the innocent in Gaza," said one protester carrying a prop made to look like a child corpse.
The crowds also protested the killing of other pro-Palestinian leaders.
