Iran's progress
The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution says the sanctions imposed on the country were primarily aimed at putting the Islamic Republic into trouble and making it to follow colonial and arrogant lines. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, however, said that the Iranian nation, with their zeal and long Islamic tradition, made such attempts futile and did not submit to such coercion. The Leader hailed the Iran-self improvement to defeat the enemy’s sanction ploys, saying a living nation creates an opportunity for itself to counter the enemy's hostility. Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the pressure helped Iranians make great progress such as in arms sector. He reiterated that the sanctions will not destroy the Iranian nation’s resolve because it is not looking for help from outside. Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks while addressing workers who had gathered from all over the country in Tehran on the occasion of Labor Week.
