Italy: Animals beat heat with icicles to chill in zoo

Inhabitants of Italy’s Bioparco Zoo in Rome have got a little help with the hot days by being treated with icicles and frozen fruits.

Animals from lemurs to tigers got the refreshing treats, with some even fighting for an extra bite. The recent summer, according to reports, might be the hottest ever on the continent, with reports saying Europe might beat its 48°C temperature record this week.
