A fire broke out on Saturday at Severance Hospital in Seoul, forcing hundreds to flee, but no casualties have been reported.

The blaze began at a food court on the third floor of the hospital's main building early in the morning and 307 people including patients escaped, according to Seodaemun Fire Station.

Hundreds of fire, police and military personnel were mobilized to put out the fire. It was completely extinguished at 9:59 a.m. local time (0059 GMT), the fire station said.

Earlier this week, a fire at Sejong Hospital in the southern city of Miryang killed at least 40 people and injured more than 150 people. The tragedy comes just weeks after a fire killed 29 people at a fitness center.
