The American intelligence and security services imprison people who seem to be problematic for Persian Gulf Arab rulers, a scholar says.

American mercenaries “can do whatever they want at the behest [of the Arab monarchs to] deal with the problems that these [Persian] Gulf sheikhdoms like Saudi, like the Emirates and the others have,” Shabbir Hassanally told Press TV on Thursday.

It is not the first time that the US and its lackeys like the UAE and others have engaged in this sort of behavior, because the American intelligence and security services can act with complete impunity and without any rule of law.

Shabbir Hassanally is an activist and scholar from London.
