The border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip has opened for the first time since the Israeli regime launched its brutal onslaught on the besieged enclave two weeks ago.

People in Muslim-majority countries held protests to show their support for Palestinians in Gaza, demanding freedom for Palestine and an urgent end to brutal Israeli air raids.

Egypt on Thursday temporarily reopened the Rafah crossing with the Gaza Strip, allowing one-way traffic into the Palestinian enclave.
