‎A high-ranking Hezbollah official has reiterated the movement’s principled stance in light of Israeli acts of aggression, stressing that steadfastness and resilience will continue until all Israeli-occupied Lebanese territory is fully liberated.

‎Mahmoud Qamati, Deputy Head of Hezbollah’s Political Council, ruled out US-brokered direct negotiations between the Beirut government and the Tel Aviv regime unless a complete and comprehensive ceasefire is established.

‎He noted that Hezbollah will continue its retaliatory operations until full liberation of Lebanese territory is achieved.

‎The senior Hezbollah official also expressed support for Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri’s rejection of direct talks with Israel, describing the position as unwavering.

‎He further noted that the Israeli military continues to repeatedly attack towns and villages in southern Lebanon, stating that dozens of civilians have been killed and injured as a result.

‎Lebanon and the Israeli regime extended their ceasefire for three weeks following a high-level meeting at the White House, US President Donald Trump said on April 23.

‎According to Lebanese authorities, nearly 2,500 people have been killed in Lebanon since the Israeli regime launched the aggression following Hezbollah’s March 2 operation, which was launched in retaliation for US-Israeli aggression on Iran.

‎Israel is occupying a strip in the south that extends 5 to 10 kilometers into Lebanon.
‎The Israeli regime’s military has reiterated warnings to residents of southern Lebanon not to cross into the area.

‎On Wednesday, Hezbollah resistance fighters carried out a series of operations against Israeli military positions in defense of Lebanon and its population, and in response to repeated attacks on areas in southern Lebanon.

‎Hezbollah fighters also targeted two Israeli Merkava tanks in a neighborhood of al-Qantra town with a kamikaze drone.

‎Another Israeli battle tank was struck and destroyed in a drone strike near the town of Beit Lif.

‎Earlier in the day, a gathering of Israeli soldiers came under attack with a barrage of rockets in al-Qantra.

‎No immediate reports on possible casualties or extent of damage were available.
