The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched the 60th wave of its ongoing retaliatory Operation True Promise 4 in the face of unprovoked American-Israeli aggression.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Corps described the latest phase as a reprisal for the aggressors' earlier assassination of head of the Islamic Republic's volunteer Basij forces, Major General Gholamreza Soleimani.
The latest wave featured "combined and effect-based" missile and drone strikes against sensitive and strategic hostile targets, it added.
The American targets included the United States' al-Udaid Airbase in Qatar as well as American outposts in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
The targets were struck using long-range and medium-range solid-fuel and liquid-fuel Emad, Qiam, Zulfaqar, and Dezful missile systems as well as cruise missiles.
Across the occupied territories, the 60th wave hit the Ashdod logistics and refueling center and the Rafael logistics and military center using Emad and Qadr missile systems.
The Corps asserted that the aggressors' cowardly assassination of a number of Basij members would not deter the millions-strong force.
Retaliation, it added, "would continue until the aggressors surrender."
Operation True Promise 4, a sequel to the IRGC's previous instances of successful reprisal against adversaries, began late last month momentarily following the launch of Washington's and Tel Aviv's latest bout of unlawful aggression targeting the Islamic Republic.
The Corps has pledged to sustain the reprisal until the enemies' "complete defeat."
