Iran’s Health Ministry says 13 children under the age of five have been killed and 204 martyrs are under 18 years old during the US-Israeli aggression.
The ministry announced on Tuesday that the country has so far suffered more than 18,000 casualties from attacks by aggressor enemies.
18,254 individuals have received treatment and been discharged, while 1,070 remain hospitalized, it said.
A total of 735 surgical operations have been performed on the injured.
In terms of those injured, 1,275 are under 18 years of age, with 45 of the child casualties being under two years old.
The statistics also show that 226 of the martyrs and 3,002 of the injured are women.
On February 28, the United States and the Israeli regime launched an unprovoked war on Iran, assassinating former Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as well as several top military commanders.
Iran immediately began to retaliate against the aggression by launching barrages of missile and drone attacks on the Israeli-occupied territories as well as on the US bases in regional countries.
