Ukraine peace plan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has told the European leaders meeting in London that the unity of Ukraine, Europe, and the US is crucial for negotiations with Russia. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said his country stands with Ukraine and any ceasefire must be just and lasting. President Zelensky said negotiators remain divided over the key issue of territorial concessions in eastern Ukraine. Meanwhile, German Chancellor Merz expressed skepticism about certain aspects of the US position, while France's Macron said Russia's economy is starting to suffer from the latest sanctions. The meeting follows pressure from Washington on Ukraine to accept its 28-point peace plan which demands significant territorial and military concessions.
