Gaza ceasefire violations
Israel has launched new attacks on Gaza, killing more Palestinians in violation of a ceasefire agreement with the Hamas movement. Israeli tanks targeted Gaza City’s Shujaiya neighborhood with artillery fire. Regime forces attacked a group of civilians near Jabalia, leaving several people injured. Three Palestinians were also killed in an Israeli attack outside the yellow-line zone in Beit Lahia, bringing the number of fatalities on Saturday to eight. Since the regime began its genocidal war in October 2023, more than 70,354 Palestinians have been killed and over 171,30 others injured.
FIFA’s neutrality under question

Russia-Ukraine war
Senior US and Ukrainian officials are meeting for a third day of talks on President Donald Trump’s proposal for ending the Ukraine war. US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner are participating in discussions. The negotiations are being held in Florida. Kiev says it is seeking to revise the terms of the US plan after it criticized an earlier draft for being favorable to Moscow. This, as Russia has already hailed the 28-point plan as a solid basis for talks. On Friday, US negotiators said in a statement that real progress is dependent on Russia’s readiness to show a serious commitment to long-term peace. The Florida meetings come shortly after Witkoff held a nearly five-hour session with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
