Israel aggression against Lebanon
Israeli forces have carried out fresh airstrikes on southern Lebanon hours after storming two border towns. The latest strikes targeted the mountains around Jarmak and the Mahmoudiyeh area, with Israel claiming to have hit a Hezbollah tunnel and launcher. Earlier, IOF attacked the town of Odaisseh, destroying a building. In Blida, Israeli soldiers stormed the town hall, killing a municipal employee. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has instructed the armed forces to confront any further Israeli incursions in the country’s south. He also called on the UN ceasefire monitoring committee to pressure Israel to stop violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty.
Israel Wast Bank attacks
The Israeli military has conducted fresh raids on several towns and villages across the occupied west bank, setting fire to Palestinian properties and abducting more civilians. Israeli forces raided the village of Masafer Yatta, arresting a Palestinian man and his son. They also detained a woman during a raid on the village of Baqa al-Hatab, east of Qalqilya. Meanwhile, several Israeli military vehicles entered Kafr Qaddum, also east of Qalqilya, and took up positions on the village’s eastern side. In Ramallah, a group of settlers set fire to two Palestinian-owned vehicles after infiltrating the village of Burqa. Earlier, regime forces raided the village and detained a young man. Meanwhile, Israel has reportedly erected nearly one thousand barriers across West Bank cities and towns, further restricting Palestinians' movement.
IAEA warned against provocation
Iran has called on the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency to avoid baseless remarks on the country’s nuclear program, saying it was such comments that paved the way for the US-Israeli aggression. In an interview with Qatar’s al Jazeera news network, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said Rafael Grossi is fully aware of the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities. Grossi has repeatedly come under fire for setting the stage for the US-Israeli aggression against Iran, which killed over 1-thousand people, including nuclear scientists. Days before the assault, IAEA issued a politically-motivated report accusing Iran of "non-compliance". The report was followed by a resolution against Iran at the IAEA board of governors meeting in Vienna, backed by the European troika.
