'Talks with US useless'

The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution says so-called talks with the United States are nothing but dictation under pressure. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, speaking at the start of the new academic year, said America’s goal is to strip Iran of its independence, by first targeting its nuclear energy, then missiles, and eventually every aspect of national sovereignty. The Leader noted that the US has repeatedly violated its commitments, including those within the 2015 nuclear deal, so it cannot be trusted. He said negotiations under coercion are harmful. Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the path forward is strengthening Iran’s scientific, military, and economic power. He said only a strong nation can deter aggression and protect its dignity, warning that reliance on the US or Western powers is a dangerous illusion.

Iran nuclear program

The Iranian nuclear facilities that have been targeted by Israel and the US in June will be rebuilt despite international pressure and threats of further Israeli attacks. That’s according to the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. In an interview with Sky News, Mohammad Eslami said it’s quite normal that during a military attack on facilities, they incur damage. But what’s important, according to Eslami, is that science, know-how, technology and industry are long-standing and deeply-rooted in the history of Iran. He talked about the percentage of uranium enrichment in the country as well. Eslami said what is being said in some media about the percentage of enrichment has been fueled by some politicians and Iran’s enemies. He underlined that the high percentage of enrichment is not necessarily for weapons, adding that the country needs it for sensitivities and precision measurement tools.

Genocide in Gaza

Fresh Israeli strikes on Gaza have claimed the lives of dozens of Palestinians since early morning.
In one of the latest attacks, four people were killed in the Nuseirat refuge camp. Another five dead bodies were recovered following airstrikes on the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. Three Palestinians also lost their lives in the southern city of Rafah after Israeli forces opened fire on aid seekers. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide since October 2023 has exceeded 65,300, with nearly 167,000 others injured.
