South Koreans living near the DMZ and lawmakers at the National Assembly demand an end to joint US-South Korea military exercises.
The recent joint US- South Korea "Freedom Shield" drills marked a threefold increase in such large-scale drills over the past 8 years, with 340 exercises this year alone.
