US-Israeli Gaza genocide

Scores more civilians, including many aid seekers, have lost their lives across Gaza, as the Israeli military intensifies its air and artillery strikes on the war-ravaged territory. In one of the latest strikes, at least four people were killed after tents for displaced Palestinians were bombed in the Mina area of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. Three more civilians were killed in another airstrike in the al-Mawasi area of the city. An Israeli airstrike targeting a Palestinian home in the al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza was also deadly, with at least four fatalities, and nearly a dozen injuries. Deaths and injuries were also reported among Palestinians gathering near aid distribution centers in several areas across Gaza. The US-Israeli genocide, which began in October 2023, has so far killed more than 59,900 Palestinians, leaving over 145,200 others injured. Most of the victims are women and children.

Yemen anti-Israel operations

The Yemeni armed forces have released interviews with the crew members of a cargo ship they sank earlier this month in the Red Sea in response to the Israeli genocide in Gaza. The crew confirmed that the Umm al-Rashrash port in the occupied territories was the ship's destination. A military source said the Eternity C was targeted after its captain refused to respond to the Yemeni Navy's warning that it would be directly targeted if it did not respond. The crew confirmed that the ship's captain did not notify them of receiving Yemen’s warning. The Yemeni army said eleven crew members were rescued at sea, including two injured, who were provided with medical care. The Yemeni army has launched numerous attacks on vessels bound for Israel since the start of the Gaza genocide. It says it will not stop its anti-Israel operations until the genocide in Gaza stops and its siege is lifted.

Condemning Iran terror attack

Iran has urged the UN chief and the Security Council to condemn the recent terrorist attack in the country’s southeast in the strongest possible terms. Iran's UN ambassador made the remark in a letter to Antonio Guterres, the president of the Security Council. Amir Saeid Iravani stressed that the world body must take a firm and principled position against all forms of terrorism, regardless of the perpetrators. He also reaffirmed Iran's unwavering commitment to defending its people and national security against any terrorist act. Iravani said Iran will continue to fight terrorist groups and their sponsors with resolve, determination, and full force until such threats are fully eradicated and uprooted from the country. He emphasized that acts of terrorism and sabotage will never deter Iran from protecting its people and upholding justice with unwavering resolve. The Saturday terrorist attack in the southeastern Sistan and Balouchestan Province left six people dead, including an infant and her mother. It was claimed by the "Jaish al-Adl" terrorist group.
