Thousands of anti-govt protesters rally in Belgrade for snap elections, dozens detained
Anti-government protesters gathered in central Belgrade, leading to clashes with police forces and creating a tense atmosphere.
Despite the confrontations, the protest continued with larger groups assembling throughout the city centre. The demonstration was organized in response to political developments in Serbia.
Participants called on the government to submit a formal proposal to the President requesting the dissolution of the National Assembly and the calling of extraordinary parliamentary elections.
