Diplomats, scholars mark Persian Language Day

Diplomats, scholars, and cultural figures have gathered in Tehran to mark Persian Language Day, and pay tribute to one of Iran’s greatest literary icons—Ferdowsi. More than a millennium after he penned the Shahnameh, his voice still echoes through the Persian language and national identity.
