US-Israeli Gaza genocide

Gaza is witnessing more deaths and destruction as Israeli forces press ahead with their relentless air and artillery strikes across the blockaded territory. In one of the deadliest strikes, nearly two dozen Palestinians were killed and over 30 others were injured after Israeli warplanes bombed a residential neighborhood in Gaza’s Shuja’iyyah neighborhood. Elsewhere in the same area, at least one Palestinian was killed and several others injured in an Israeli bombardment. Israeli jets also struck the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing and injuring a number of Palestinians. Fatalities were also reported after the regime’s artillery shelled a number of areas across the coastal sliver. Gaza’s health ministry has warned about the dire humanitarian situation, saying around 60,000 children are at risk of serious health implications due to malnutrition. The Israeli genocide has already claimed the lives of more than 50,800 and injured over 115,700 others in Gaza.

US aggression against Yemen

The Yemeni army says it has shot down another American unmanned aircraft over the country’s airspace. The downing of the drone came after the US launched multiple strikes on various areas of Yemen, resulting in deaths, injuries, and damage to people's properties. The attacks targeted several governorates and provinces, including Hudaydah, Dhamar and Ibb. Yahya Saree noted that this is the third drone the air defense forces have successfully shot down in ten days and the eighteenth since they began their operations in support of Gaza. He reiterated the army’s unwavering support for Gaza and its commitment to carrying out defensive missions to confront any aggression against Yemen. He emphasized that the army is fully prepared to address any attempts to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty, security, and stability.

Trump's trade war

China has strongly condemned US tariffs as arrogant, vowing countermeasures if Washington persists in escalating the trade war. The reaction came as US president Donald Trump’s tariffs on imports from dozens of countries officially took effect earlier today. China, the hardest-hit trading partner, now faces tariffs on its products reaching a staggering 104%. In response, Beijing announced additional 34% tariffs on all US imports, set to take effect on Thursday. The European Union is now subject to 20% tariffs, alongside industry-specific duties. The latest wave of US tariffs has also been imposed on Japan, South Korea, India, Taiwan, and Vietnam, marking a broad escalation in trade measures.
