US-Israel Gaza genocide
More Palestinian civilians are slaughtered in Gaza as the Israeli military presses ahead with its air and artillery strikes against the blockaded territory. In one of the latest strikes, at least four people were killed and several others injured in Israeli shelling of Palestinian homes in al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza city. Israeli forces carried out a deadly shelling on residential buildings in Khan Yunis. Also in Khan Yunis, a drone strike targeted tents of displaced People, killing and injuring several Palestinians there. Earlier on Wednesday, Israeli warplanes struck a school, housing displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi refugee camp in southern Gaza, leaving nearly a dozen dead and several injured. A number of children have been among the victims of Israeli attacks across Gaza. The death toll from the Israeli onslaught on Gaza since October 2023 has surpassed 51,300. Over 117,000 others have been injured.
Israeli killing of medics
The Israeli daily Haaretz has uncovered new details about last month’s killing of over a dozen Palestinian emergency workers in Southern Gaza. Haaretz report revealed that Israeli forces were aware that the vehicles on the move were ambulances, yet fired on them for three and a half minutes. It also confirmed that the shooting occurred at point-blank range and continued even after the aid workers tried to identify themselves. The Israeli military has denied indiscriminate fire in the killing of Palestinian medics. However, video footage recovered from a Palestinian medic’s phone showed the Israeli forces firing on the crew while they were wearing reflective uniforms and traveling in a clearly marked ambulance. The Palestinian Red Crescent has firmly rejected the Israeli military’s report, calling it invalid and full of lies.
