Yemen anti-Israel operation

The Yemeni army says it has carried out a fresh retaliatory operation against Israel in response to the regime’s genocidal war against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. Saree warned all airlines that the Ben Gurion Airport has now become unsafe for air traffic and will remain so until the Israeli aggression against Gaza stops and the blockade is lifted. The spokesman also said the country’s armed forces carried out a military operation targeting several warships belonging to the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman using a number of drones for the sixth consecutive day. He said the operation was part of Yemen’s response to the American aggression against the Arab country. The official added the United States launched several strikes on a number of governorates in Yemen in a failed attempt to prevent the Yemeni people from supporting the oppressed Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. 

Israel Lebanon attacks

The Israeli military has carried out a fresh attack on Lebanon, targeting several areas in the country’s south. Lebanese sources have said the Israeli artillery shelled multiple locations in an around the city of Khiyam. The Israeli shelling also targeted the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif. Heavy gunfire was also heard in towns of Houla and Markaba. Earlier Israeli media reported at least five rockets were fired from Lebanon toward areas in the occupied Palestine. The Israeli military says it will respond more aggressively to the rocket fire. Since signing a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon in November, Israel has repeatedly violated the deal. Meanwhile, Lebanon is warning against Israeli military operations along its southern borders, with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam expressing concern about the risk of being dragged into a new war. He also called for putting more international pressure on Israel to withdraw from the occupied Lebanese territories.

Sudan clashes

Sudan’s Army says it has seized multiple sites and key facilities in the capital Khartoum following fierce clashes with the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces or RSF. The Army has said its forces have taken control of the Central Bank headquarters, the University of Sudan, and the National Museum in the capital city’s Al-Muqran region. On Friday, Sudan’s army also took control of the Presidential Palace which had been under the RSF control since 2023. The Army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan has called on the paramilitary forces to lay down arms. Meanwhile, the RSF forces say they have killed dozens of troops in a drone attack on the presidential palace and that the battle for the palace is not over yet.
