Israel blocking Gaza aid

The Hamas resistance movement has strongly condemned Israel’s move to block entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza as a collective punishment against Palestinian civilians. The movement asserted that continued closure of Gaza’s crossings by Israel constitutes a war crime and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. Hamas emphasized that preventing the arrival of food, medicine, and basic needs is a desperate attempt by Israel to impose a catastrophic reality on more than two million Palestinians. It noted that blocking aid to Gaza also proves Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s disregard for international laws and agreements. Hamas said Netanyahu has been emboldened by the political cover and unlimited support offered to him by the new US administration. It also called on Muslim countries, the United Nations, and other international organizations to take urgent action to stop Israel’s crimes against the people of Gaza.

Israel West Bank aggression

A new report has revealed that Israeli troops and settlers carried out more than one-thousand-seven-hundred raids across the occupied West Bank in February alone. Mu’ayyad Shaban, the head of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, says eighty-percent of the attacks included field executions, demolition of structures, uprooting of trees and occupation of Palestinian properties. Most of the raids were reported from the occupied Nablus, al-Khalil and Ramallah. This as the IOF continues violent raids against the occupied West Bank city of Jenin for the 42nd day. In the latest of the attacks, a Palestinian infant was suffocated from tear gas fired by IOF troops in the Jenin refugee camp. The occupation forces launched raids across other parts of the occupied territories, injuring a child in Salfit in the central West Bank and abducting eight others in Bethlehem.

Iran-Turkey relations

Iran has advised Turkish officials to avoid making incorrect remarks and offering unreal analyses, which can lead to tensions in the two countries’ relations. The comment was made by an assistant to the Iranian foreign minister in a meeting with Turkey’s ambassador to Tehran. The Iranian official was reacting to recent remarks made by Turkey’s top diplomat, Hakan Fidan, who accused Iran of interference in the internal affairs of regional countries. The Iranian diplomat said the two countries’ common interests and sensitive regional conditions require Turkish officials to avoid making incorrect comments that would sow discord between the two nations. He added that the Zionist regime’s ongoing aggression and expansionist policies pose the biggest threat to regional stability and security. He also called on Muslim countries to focus their efforts on stopping Israel’s aggression and crimes against Palestinians and other regional nations, including Syria. Turkey’s ambassador, for his part, said his country attaches importance to maintaining good relations with Iran. He added that Ankara believes the two countries must boost cooperation to counter the existing threats.
